Caroline & Matthew’s Winter Engagement Session at Wesleyan College

Some sessions just feel easy from the very beginning and Caroline and Matthew’s was one of those.

These two met at Camp Pine Cove, so from the start I knew their engagement session needed to feel joyful, relaxed, and full of movement—very much them. Wesleyan College ended up being the perfect fit: timeless, calm, and effortlessly romantic.

Why Wesleyan Was the Perfect Choice for Them

Wesleyan is one of those locations that immediately helps couples loosen up. We walked, laughed, and let moments unfold naturally instead of forcing anything and that’s where the magic always happens.

Winter sessions here are especially underrated. The soft light, neutral tones, and quiet campus let the focus stay exactly where it should: on the connection.

A Full-Circle Moment

I first met Caroline while photographing one of her close friend’s weddings in 2025, so being invited to document this season and their Spring 2026 wedding has been incredibly special. There’s nothing I love more than watching stories come full circle like this.

Choosing the Right Engagement Location

If you’re in the planning phase and wondering where to take your engagement photos, location really does matter but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I walk couples through this all the time, and I’ve shared my three favorite engagement photo locations in Macon to help make that decision easier.

Caroline and Matthew’s session was such a sweet reminder that the best photos come from trust, ease, and choosing a place that feels right.

If you’re newly engaged and dreaming about photos that feel natural, timeless, and very you, I’d love to help you plan a session and celebrate what’s ahead.
