Nothing is sweeter than being a part of a couple’s journey. I adore Mary Rachel and Marshall; capturing special moments of their journey has been such a joy. We started Mary Rachel & Marshall’s journey with the sweetest proposal, and close family came and surprised the newly engaged couple after. Fast forward a few months to the happy couple’s fall engagement at Athens botanical gardens

Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for … the Danner’s spring wedding! It was a beautiful spring day, and the queen herself, Ember Bentley, coordinated this magical day.

Who’s down to flash back to May 14, 2021, and relive Mary Rachel and Marshall’s wedding together?

👇 If you’re down, keep scrolling with me, and let’s do this! ðŸ‘‡

Southern bell inspired beauty

Mary Rachel wore an elegant sweetheart neckline dress from a fantastic gem that we all know and love, Carrie’s Bridal. She is so perfect with her veil and Kendra Scott earnings. We also love a bride who adds a touch of something blue to their wedding day. Mary Rachel’s light blue shoes were perfect with an adorable bow detail.

Speaking of details, there are so many good ones around the ceremony at North Macon Presbyterian Church and outside at a delicately decorated reception area. This is the perfect moment to shout out the amazing wedding vendors who killed it (in the best way) and deserve a follow on social and pins on Pinterest.

Jessica & Holly and Amanda Jane Salon slayed bridal hair and makeup. They styled classy updos and created stunning makeup looks for the bridal party. 10/10 recommend them for bridal hair and makeup; they are so good! Allison Lucas nailed the spring florals with the best arrangements, and it was a treat to spot them along the aisle and altar area. She’s the real deal, so you should book her for your wedding! It was so cool to see blue and white china, and it made such a chic centerpiece at tables.

Pretty in Pink

Our lovely bride was surrounded by the girls closest to her, and you can tell her bridal party had a blast being right by her side the whole day. I loved capturing all the cute and fun group photos of the bride with her bridesmaids. Let’s momentarily obsess over our sweet bridal party before we scroll down to see our groom squad.

Let’s hear it for the boys

Marshall and his groomsmen looked sharp and energetic when it was time for groom photos. They were down for the classics for traditional wedding albums and silly, goofy ones that always make you laugh. It’s always a super fun time getting the groom’s photos on the big day; this one is no exception!

Father -daughter first look

This first look got me teary-eyed. It was just so precious! First looks are one of my favorite wedding photos to capture because the reactions are everything. The tears, hugs, and smiles are an emotional moment that will always be a staple in my wedding day timeline.

Here comes the bride

All the guests were eagerly waiting at the edge of the pews for the bride to come down the aisle. Before that, the cutest flower girls, parents, and bridal parties walked down. It was a beautiful ceremony with so much love poured out for this couple. And just like that, they entered their “just married” era and were glowing!

Party time

After the ceremony, we captured more couple’s romantics and family formals before the party began. Then we had the reception, which started best with such a sweet couple’s first dance. I was a big fan of the reception food from Creekside and The Grape Vine Band, one of Macon’s best, that performed and got everybody dancing all night long.

Remember my all-time favorite part of the reception -the cake! It was delicious, and I loved capturing the happy couple tasting the cake. You must check out Gussie Good Cake Shop; their cakes are always so good.

Forever & always

Our bride and groom had the best time dancing the night away with their wedding guests. It was an honor to capture the Danner’s wedding. The couple had a sparkler send-off, a sweet way to end the big day.

Thank you both for letting me capture your special day.

Xoxo,

Annie T.
