Hannah Hurt is an acrylic painter with a knack for the collision of realism and abstract. The way she works with acrylics is a wonder. Her meticulous attention to detail and funky brushstrokes make for mesmerizing work. Hannah’s career started when she was a First Presbyterian Day School student in Macon, Georgia. After graduating high school, she expanded her skill set by studying at the College of Charleston. Since graduating college, she has moved to Colorado to work for Christopher Martin Gallery to grow and develop her craft.
A few years back, I had the honor of capturing content for her. Visiting a studio is like stepping into an artist’s brain – it is sacred ground. It was an honor to capture such a precious space. I documented content for her to use for social and marketing materials. It was so much fun. Her sweet pup Charlie popped into a few shots as well.
