Frequently Asked Questions for a Wedding Photographer

Annie T. Wedding Collections

I’ve created a Frequently Asked Questions blog because, let’s face it you have questions.

As a wedding photographer, do you know what I tell my brides? Aside from the groom, my work is the only thing you take with you after the big day. My style must match your vision if we work together.

How would you describe your photographic style?

Aesthetically my style is light and airy-meaning I capture crisp whites and creamy skin tones. I do not edit in a way that alters the authentic colors of the day. Don’t know your wedding day style? Take this quiz from The Knot. It helped one of my brides discover her dream venue was 1842 Inn.

Functionally I hover in three styles: traditional portrait, documentary, and a dash of fine art photography. I like to think of traditional portrait photography as the “make mama proud images.” The traditional portraits and family formals. The documentary style would mean I am there to capture the day as it happens. If a particular groomsman is breaking a move on the dance floor, you bet your bottom dollar I captured the scene. Last but not least, a dash of fine art. I let my brides and grooms know I have a creative vision for the day within the bounds of our timeline. You will see this in creative shots I take of the bride with her veil or unique placements of the wedding day details.

What do your wedding packages include?

This a frequently asked question. All wedding packages have an engagement session and a viewing gallery for the images. Each package handles the image delivery and additional photographers uniquely.

My groom is grumpy and doesn’t like taking pictures. –Can you make that work?

Grumpy grooms and fussy toddlers are my favorites. What can I say? As a wedding photographer, I love a good challenge. Taking pictures is typically awkward and uncomfortable for anyone. Don’t sweat it; I will guide you and your groom through striking natural poses. I love capturing dancing, hugging, and the snagging of a kiss. If you need a glass of something special to help loosen you up, go for it. It is always my goal for my couples to leave a session, saying it was painless and fun.

How long is the turnaround time?

Your contract will map our specific turnaround time, Typically within 6-8 weeks from your wedding date. However, in some seasons, it might be sooner. All wedding packages come with a sneak peek within a few days of the wedding to share with family and friends.

Can I see a full wedding gallery?

Absolutely! I love showing off my work to clients. Let me know your venue, and I’ll share a wedding that best resembles the look and feel. Heck, I might have even photographed it before.

Do you charge for travel?

Here is another great question. There are no additional travel feelings for wedding days in middle Georgia. A travel fee will be included outside the central Georgia area. All travel fees will be discussed through email before signing the contract.

How do I book My Wedding Date?

You can start by filling out this contact form. I’ll send my pricing guide and timeline template. We will schedule a bridal chat to discuss any questions you might have for me. You must complete a bridal questionnaire if you decide to proceed with my booking process. After completing that, I will send over the contract and invoice. Pop the confetti and check the mail for Annie T. swag because you are booked, baby!!

Xoxo,

Annie T.
